Whoo! Hoo!

First, I want to say "Thank You" to Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Last week my card was randomly selected to win the weekly prize. I can't wait to get my gift voucher...you all know how much I love to shop...so let the fun begin. Whoo! Hoo!!

Now onto another card design by Tuesday Morning Sketches--#200 (check it out here). And a Challenge by 365 Cards (see below).

For some reason, this one was a bit of a challenge for me. I just couldn't get started. Then...all of a sudden...it hit me. And the following card was born.

I used DP from DCWV's The Linen Closet Stack and brown and kraft solid cardstock from Michael's. The flower image is from The Graphics Fairy. I colored the image with Copics, Sharpies and Stampin' Up! markers.  The sentiment is computer generated. The lace is from...well, my stash (smile).

I puffed up the three matted pieces. I also cut and colored an additional flower and two leaves. The flower and one leaf I just glued down, but bent them a bit to add dimension. The other leaf I used a pop dot to raise it up.  I also added a resin piece to the center of the flower.

A few additional rhinestones and a piece of beige baker's twine that I colored using Copics (B00 and G00) to match the card colors made this card eligible for 365 Cards Guest Design Challenge (add three teeny tiny elements to your card.  Rhinestones, pearls, or brads can only count as one of your items).  I have rhinestones, resin flower center and tiny baker's twine 'bow.' I wasn't sure the popped-up leaf would count as an element, so that's why I added the twine.

I love how a card just seems to 'fall into place' when you least expect it.
