Which leads me to today's card. Sometimes I just need to take time to "Be still, and know that God is God" and that He controls what happens in and around my life. Too often I am rushing in too many directions...trying to accomplish too many things...having too many projects going at the same time -- that I just need to take a moment to "be still."
And, maybe...just maybe...a few storms in this life will miss me. Or, at least when they do come, I will remember that God is still in control.
I'm entering this card in two challenges:
The sentiment is a free digital stamp from Clearly Digi Stamps. I changed the color to red to meet the challenge requirements, but I really like the way it all comes together.
Now, to only practice what I am writing about today...hmm, that is the real Challenge.
I love your post and needed to hear it and remind myself! God is awesome how he puts in our paths what we need and when we need it. I love that you took the FREE sentiment and made it part of the focal point of the card...perfect match with those flowers. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing in Clearly iStamp Challenge #1 (CiSC1) - Red, White & Blue color challenge. See you on July 5th for CiSC challenge #2!!

ReplyDeleteI like the way you used dimension and let the flower come off the page a little. I also enjoy the different shades of blue you used on your flower. What a lovely message to send someone. Thank you for sharing your art and your heart with us at the Clearly iStamp Challenge.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you trying out for CiSC Design Team.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we could only choose 5 and we had 19 entries. There will be another DT call in Oct/Nov.
