My Friends Make Me Laugh

There are certain people that no matter what they say, they make me laugh. I haven't figured out whether it's actually what they say or how they say something that makes me laugh, but no matter what we're taking about, I find myself "laughing."

You'll find out later why I'm mentioning the above, but let's get to today's challenges.  Friday Sketch Challenge #47 has a great card layout this week

(and an even nicer sponsor--Stamp Fairy) so I wanted to play along . . . and I've been anxious to use a new digistamp I received from Stamp Fairy - - Clementine Easter 2.
And, Sentimental Sundays has a cool Recipe Challenge-#162  (use image, die cut, pattern paper, embellishments and a sentiment) that fits with this card also.
I'm also entering this card in Clear It Out Challenge-Make someone's day and use something sparkly or shiny (I used shiny pearls).

And now the reason why I mentioned my funny ;-) friends.  I was trying to think of the perfect Birthday card for one of them, and this is what I finally came up with.

I added a few pink and orange pearls, green and orange matting and ribbon (the ribbon is green, but it looks yellow no matter how I try to "color adjust" it). I inked the edges of the sentiment and the Spellbinders Scalloped Octagon using Memento Tangelo and New Sprout. And used Copics to color the bunny and egg.

The sentiment (front and inside) is computer generated.  The sentiments probably should be reversed, but the egg was on the outside so . . . they are where they are (sometimes I tend to over-analyze when I make a card).

I love this card . . . ok, sometimes I even crack myself up . . . but the card was fun to put together and I can't wait to send it out.

 Keep Crafting,
