Have you ever had a day crafting where everything that could go wrong ... did? That was my day yesterday.
This card was a test of patience. It all started when our internet went down a couple days ago. Then my computer kept crashing. Finally got all that resolved and started on the card.
I merged a Crissy Armstrong digi with a TLC Sentiment to create the image. So far, so good. I colored the image with Copics ~ no problems yet ... and we all know there could have been problems here, right?
Then I decided to add Glossy Accents to the Christmas Lights. That went ok until I went to clean the bottle and squirted a bit on the DSP. Ugh!! So I added rhinestones to cover the glob of Glossy Accents.
Onto photographing the card. Yes, while the GA was still wet; but I had to get this card finished. The card tipped over and I now had squishy GA. Fortunately it doesn't show too bad in the photo (please don't enlarge the photo LOL).
And, after looking at the photo, I realized that using a black background looks great in person, but horrid in the photograph. Maybe because I had to photograph the card late at night, rather than during the day.
Anyway, I hope you join along with us this week at Christmas Card Challenges. Here's our photo inspiration for you to get your mojo going. The Challenge actually begins on Monday, July 20 (the DT Coordinator took a short, very deserved, hiatus); but since you have a heads-up ... you can begin creating now LOL
