I created this card for a friend who was having cataract surgery on his second eye . . . however when I called to find out when he was having it, much to my surprise he said, "yesterday."
Yup, I'm really on top of things. In my defense, I had just gotten back from vacation, so I was a bit behind on neighborhood news. Hmmm, I wonder if anyone else is having cataract surgery . . . on their second eye? Not sure this card would be appropriate for much else; but I still love it!
The digi stamp and papers are from Doodle Pantry~Monster Mash set. I used the color digi, but recolored it with Copics. I also added Glossy Accents to the eye to make it "pop." A bit of ribbon tied to a decorative paper clip, a few dimensionals placed here and there and a computer-generated sentiment completed the card inside and out.
If you enter the Doodle Pantry Challenge this month and use a Doodle Pantry image, you'll receive Petite Bouquet for free. You have until 9pm on the 24th to enter. I hope to see your beautiful creations!
Totally fun and clever! What a perfect card for someone having cataract surgery. Your design and monochromatic color scheme rocks!
