Christmas Card Challenges # 37

I can't believe another week is starting. I'm not sure where last week went. Today's post will be short . . . I'm heading off to a pool party soon and I know I won't have time to write it when I get back.

We have another challenge for you this week at Christmas Card Challenges.
This week's theme is:

Evergreen (trees)

Here's my card . . . hopefully it will inspire you to get busy making those Christmas cards (and while you're at it, why not join us and link up your creation).  The days are flying by SO fast and before you know it, Christmas will be here.

I stamped the tree (Stampin' Up!) on vellum and colored it on the back side with Copics and Sharpies. I also added some "snow" using a white gel pen (to the back side).  I cut an oval in the ivory cardstock then die cut a scalloped oval in the dark green cardstock (both Spellbinders dies).  I placed the vellum in between the two to hide the edges.

Here's what it looks like on the inside. I stamped the  "Merry Christmas" sentiment in white on dark green cardstock and framed it with a scalloped oval in ivory.  I had to place the dark green behind the tree image in order for the "snow" to show up better when the card was closed.

Please visit the other Design Team members blogs to see how they came up with their inspriational cards for you this week.

I'm entering this card in the following challenge:
  >  Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra
  > Craft-Dee Bowz: Anything Goes + Handmade Bow

 Keep Crafting,
Heather
